He was kind and funny, and really did his best to connect with each guest. His knowledge of the flora, fauna, history, and legends of the area was the best of any nature tour guide we have encountered. His campfire building and cooking skills could have been their own tour—wonderful Finnish food, including ones from his own home town(s). He even played music around the campfire on really special instruments. Fantastic day—highly recommend!”

I promptly notified the guide, provided a doctor’s note, and explained the situation in good faith. Despite clear medical documentation and circumstances entirely outside my control, I was denied any refund. While I understand that businesses have policies, a complete lack of flexibility in the face of a serious injury — especially when proof was provided — reflects very poor customer service.
