“This was a fantastic experience. Driver was friendly and very skilled on the icy roads. We were greeted by our guide who explained the plan for the evening then showed us around the hotel and how it was built. He showed us all the rooms, each incredibly unique with fantastic ice sculptures. We had a chance to have a shot in the Ice Bar and throw the ice glass against the wall. We then had time to explore the rooms again on our own and relax in the Sky Bar with hot lingonberry or a cold drink before an amazing meal next to the open log fire. Sadly the Northern…”

A small-group Helsinki sightseeing tour with short food tastings, Finnish history, and market hall bites, guided in English for about 2 to 3 hours.

“Overall great experience learning about the history of Helsinki and sampling various local foods. I enjoyed walking off the main streets and learning about the not only the city but also the neighborhood and parks within Helsinki. Larisa, our guide, is very informative and attentive and offered a personal touch to our experience. Although my partner and I were the only 2 people in the group, we did not feel rushed at all. Some definite highlights were walking the streets which inspired Moomin and the tastings (the caviar options, smoked meats, pastries, and (one of my new favorites, spruce tea). We definitely recommend this tour to others!!”

A 2.5-hour Helsinki city walk with a small-group food tasting at Old Market Hall, mixing classic sights and Finnish bites.

“We had a fantastic experience! Our guide Lara was very knowledgeable and approachable, and we learnt a lot about the history of Helsinki. We are very grateful that she was able to start the tour an hour earlier due to my change of flight. We saw some interesting and beautiful sights in Helsinki - within very reasonable walking distance. And she took us to the oldest market in town to taste some amazing local specialties - including caviar and bear meat! Everything we tasted was absolutely delicious. I recommend this tour - it may seem pricey, but the products you get to taste are totally worth it! A & K”
