“Zonder noorderlicht (wat natuurlijk nooit te garanderen is) is deze tocht wat magertjes. Het is vooral een (koude) tocht over het meer in een slee achter een sneeuwscooter gevolgd door een tussenstop in een tipi tent met vuur waarop worstje/soep/brood worden klaargemaakt en waar je de gelegenheid krijgt 2 rendieren te voeren. Daarna nog paar minuten terug met de slee naar de auto die ons terugbracht naar de beginlocatie waar we onze dikke geleende pakken konden inleveren en daarna teruggebracht werden naar ons hotel. Als totaalpakket niet slecht als aanbod, maar in de praktijk zonder noorderlicht heeft het weinig om het lijf.”

“Andrei and his team clearly wants to deliver an experience that is a cut above the rest in Lapland. From the moment we stepped into his seriously comfortable vehicle, we knew we were in for a cosy and premium experience. A pity that the weather was not in our favour that night - it was snowing heavily and although Andrei offered to push our activity back by a day, we couldn't take up the offer. “I found the whole experience well-run, professional and very organised. Everyone was efficient. The only unexpected experience occurred at the start of the trip, because we had to change into snowsuits, snow boots and helmets. The ride on the lake was cold and windy, but very atmospheric. The couple that run this tour were great hosts, and the hot berry juice and hot food were appreciated. Mid-way through our meal (cooked by the hostess), we were alerted to go outside, as the host had spotted aurora activity. I highly recommend this trip, and I would definitely book this again, if I ever visit Ivalo again.”

“Really cool experience! It was a 3 course meal and just as described. I had the elk and everything was very tasty. There is an ice disco bar in the restaurant as well. They served shots in shot glasses made of ice. The snow sculptures on the walls were very impressive! I had access to Snowman world and went on the large labyrinth slide. Bundle up because it's cold!”

“We felt that the overall experience was excellent and the Ice Hotel and snow sauna were very unique experiences. However, we were asked to be at the meeting point 1/2 hour prior to the start of the experience. That seemed somewhat excessive, but we were willing to do that to prevent any unnecessary delays. But when the bus transporting us came 15 to 20 minutes late, it meant that we had to stand out in the cold for approximately 45 minutes for absolutely no reason whatsoever. If you are going to demand punctuality from your guests, you should make sure that the transportation is punctual as well.Read more”

“It will be perfect if we can see the aurora. Despite that, the experience is unforgettable. Riding a snowmobile on the lake, drinking reindeer soup around a campfire, it is just unlucky that we cannot see the northern lights.”

“What a great memorable experience! We were picked up at the agreed upon time and taken outside of the city to a wonderfully beautiful area. Dinner was fabulous and Katerina was an amazing host from our drive to the location, to preparing the delicious meal, to trying to watch for the Northern Lights hoping to get a glimpse for us to see. Although it was cloudy and the lights did not cooperate, we had a fantastic time and enjoyed riding the snowscooters around the frozen lake. I would highly recommend to anyone!”

“Unfortunately, this was a very dissapointing experience. Apart from the snowmobile ride which was very nice and well organised, the conditions in the igloo were not pleasant. There was a large amount of smoke which made it very difficult for us to see and enjoy our food, and inside it was incredibly cold. Understanding that it was in fact very cold outside, heating measures should have been taken into consideration. The food was fine but not what we expected given the price range.”
